PM Modi’s Vision for Empowering Citizens Beyond the ‘Mai-Baap’ Mindset

Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes in empowering citizens and moving away from the traditional ‘mai-baap’ mindset that previous governments have held.

He emphasizes the importance of considering the welfare of the poor, youth, women, and farmers in order to make India a developed nation.

Through his initiatives and interactions with the people, PM Modi aims to instill confidence in his government and bring about positive change in the lives of all citizens.

The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and Empowering Beneficiaries

PM Modi recently interacted with the beneficiaries of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ via video conferencing.

This yatra is being undertaken across the country with the goal of ensuring that the benefits of flagship schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a timely manner.

PM Modi expressed his satisfaction with the enthusiasm and participation of the people in this yatra, attributing it to their confidence in the government’s efforts.

Moving Beyond the ‘Mai-Baap’ Mindset

PM Modi criticized past governments for considering themselves the ‘mai-baap’ (feudal) of the people, which led to a lack of trust and deprivation of basic facilities for a significant portion of the population.

He believes that the government’s mindset should shift from seeking political benefit and vote bank politics to serving the people with dedication and sincerity.

PM Modi emphasized that the current government views the people as a form of God and works with a ‘seva bhav’ (service mentality).

PM Modi highlighted that the people’s trust in the government has been earned through ten years of hard work and visible results.

This trust is reflected in the overwhelming support and participation in initiatives like the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’.

He emphasized that the government in place is dedicated to empowering the people and considering their welfare as a top priority.

A notable aspect of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ is the popular perception of it as the ‘Modi ki guarantee wali gaadi’ (the vehicle of Modi’s guarantee).

This perception reflects the people’s confidence in the government and its ability to deliver on its promises. The ‘Modi ki guarantee’ initiative has reached over 12,000 panchayats and benefited more than 30 lakh people.

Jan Aushadhi Kendras and Drone Didi Yojana

PM Modi also launched two important initiatives during his interaction with the beneficiaries. The first initiative aims to increase the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras, which sell medicines at subsidized rates, from 10,000 to 25,000.

The Prime Minister dedicated the 10,000th Jan Aushadi Kendra at AIIMS, Deoghar to the nation.

The second initiative, called the ‘Drone Didi Yojana’, aims to provide drones to 15,000 women Self Help Groups for rental services to farmers for agricultural purposes.

PM Modi’s vision for empowering citizens beyond the ‘mai-baap’ mindset is evident in his dedication to serving the poor, youth, women, and farmers.

By focusing on their welfare and considering their rise as crucial for national development, PM Modi aims to create a government that works with a ‘seva bhav’.

The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and the initiatives launched during the interaction with beneficiaries are just a few examples of the government’s efforts to empower citizens and make India a developed nation.
