Unicommerce launches “Pack-Fast” solution ahead of festive season surge

Image-assisted packing, zero-click printing, missing-item alert to accelerate packing and shipping~

New Delhi | 5th October, 2023: One of India’s leading ecommerce enablement SaaS platform Unicommerce, has launched “Pack-Fast” solution to help e-commerce platforms and retail brands power faster warehouse operations. The solution is designed to help platforms and brands manage the surge in volumes with festive season sales kicking off early October.

The “Pack-Fast” solution is designed to enable the warehouse workforce to handle picklists more efficiently and further incorporates features like image-assisted sorting for multi-item shipments, auto-focus to next action and zero-click printing among others, reducing the load on packers and improving the packing efficiency. This is expected to be most beneficial for beauty, personal care and pharma products where multi-item orders are common. It is also expected to enhance packing accuracy by flagging orders with missing or damaged products. The solution is launched to enable click-free packing and improve order dispatch accuracy reducing nearly 28 clicks throughout the packing process.

The newly launched feature also focuses on optimizing order assembly. The feature enables brands to sideline orders, allowing sellers to delay picking an order in case of unusual situations such as missing items or damaged products. This feature further enhances warehouse efficiency by suggesting the best shelves for shipments and products that should be grouped together. It is also designed to helps brands further reduce return orders by offering quality checks right at the staging area.

Unicommerce’s technology enables brands and marketplaces throughout the entire order journey from the moment a customer clicks the buy button, till the product is delivered to them. Its solutions streamline the processes at various stages of the supply chain and help brands enhance the post-purchase experience for end consumers.
