Actor Bob Odenkirk was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after collapsing on the set of ‘Better Call Saul.’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Odenkirk collapsed in New Mexico while filming the sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad spinoff series.
The cause of his demise is unknown at the moment. Even so, representatives for Sony Pictures Television, the company that produces the critically acclaimed series, have withheld information about Odenkirk’s health until now.
Odenkirk, 58, is nominated for four Emmys for his portrayal of lawyer Jimmy McGill on AMC’s Emmy-winning drama ‘Breaking Bad.’ On prequel spinoff ‘Better Call Saul,’ he reprises the role and leads the call sheet.
This year was supposed to be the premiere of the popular series. However, Covid has now postponed the final season until at least 2022.
