President Zelenskyy said on Saturday that “serious dialogue” are the “sole option for Russia to limit the harm from its own blunders” as the Russian bombardment on Ukrainian cities continues. After days of progress, the two countries’ talks have come to a halt, with Russia accusing Ukraine of stalling peace talks. Since the crisis began, approximately 6.5 million people have been internally displaced in Ukraine, according to UN estimates.

According to Interfax, the ministry stated it used a coastal missile system to attack Ukrainian military radio and reconnaissance centres near the port city of Odessa.

The army and its separatist allies had made a breakthrough in Mariupol, which had been under Russian shelling for days, and were already inside the city, according to Russia’s defence ministry.
“In Mariupol, units of the Donetsk People’s Republic are compressing the encirclement and battling against nationalists in the city centre with the backing of Russian armed forces,” the ministry said.
The food supply networks in Ukraine are breaking down, and the fighting is causing “collateral famine” around the world, according to the United Nations’ food aid agency.
Since the start of the war, 222 people have been murdered in Kyiv, including 60 civilians and four children, according to officials.
