A Twitter user dubbed Divya Agarwal a ‘undeserving winner,’ citing a video of her obliviously ignoring the media while exiting the Bigg Boss OTT house. “Undeserving winner for me,” the viewer wrote. And such arrogance persists even after leaving the house.
Varun Sood, Divya’s boyfriend, defended her. “Because they leapt in front of the moving car,” he responded to the post. Additionally, we were unable to inform them of the results.”
Divya became the first winner of Bigg Boss OTT on Saturday, a digital spin-off of the Karan Johar-hosted reality programme that aired on Voot. In the race for the trophy, she defeated Nishant Bhat and Shamita Shetty.
Varun has been standing up for Divya in the face of internet criticism. On Sunday, he tweeted, “All right!! I’d just like to address those who say #BB15 asli ghar hai. Toh nakli tha #BBOTT kya? Itni battle kyu maari nakli tha toh (Bigg Boss 15 is the real deal. Thus, was Bigg Boss a hoax? If it was a forgery, what was the point of fighting so much)? P.S. Photographs will be available in the evening.”
When a fan of Pratik Sehajpal reacted to the tweet, “BB15 is real #PratikSehajpal,” Varun reaffirmed his point: “Toh ye nakli tha toh itni fight kyu maari (If Bigg Boss OTT was a hoax, then why was there so much fighting).”
Divya played solo for the majority of Bigg Boss OTT. While she initially lacked a connection, she quickly teamed up with Zeeshan Khan when he abandoned his previous relationship, Urfi Javed. She was, however, left alone once more after he was ejected from the show for exhibiting violent behaviour.
