Shweta Singh Kriti, the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, shared a heartbreaking statement on social media on the occasion of Durga Ashtami, pleading with the goddess for justice to triumph.
Shweta took to Twitter to share a photo of Sushant with the caption, “You were, You are, and You will always be our pride!” Consider the amount of love you’ve inspired in every heart… they’ve been tirelessly battling for you!”
“I offer my prayers to Maa Durga…. “Mother, please allow the truth to be revealed; please allow our demanding hearts to find some peace,” she concluded her note.
Sushant, who was adored for his ability to play a variety of roles flawlessly, died on June 14, 2020, allegedly by suicide at his room. It’s been more than a year, yet the nation is still reeling over the actor’s death.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has also been investigating the actor’s death from a drug-related viewpoint after receiving official communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) indicating the discovery of different chats linked to drug intake, purchase, use, and transportation.
The ED lodged an Enforcement Case Information Report in the late actor’s death case on July 31 last year, after Sushant’s father KK Singh’s filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar on July 28.
